Seeking Wisdom and Vision

We would like to ask you to join us in prayer for the next 2 weeks.

We are praying for God's will to be revealed to us in Haiti. Our entire staff has committed the next 2 weeks to praying for God's vision and purpose for us here in Port au Prince.

Please pray specifically for us to follow God's plan for us in Caradeux, the tent city where we currently hold English and Bible classes. Also, for God's vision for our Children's Home. Also, pray for us and our staff and for God's specific purpose for each of us here.

Josh and I have committed the next 2 weeks to truly seeking God's ministry while we are in Haiti and ask you to join us in prayer as well.

And just a few pictures for those who care!

Healing Hearts

We wanted to update you on on heart patients. You may not know, but Chadasha was originally founded by a heart surgeon, who had a heart for filling a need of providing heart surgeries for children in Haiti. Every quarter we partner with the International Childrens Heart Foundation and send about 7 children to the Dominican Republic for heart surgeries. We just sent 7 children to the DR for surgery. 5 of the 7 were able to have surgery and are doing well! 4 of them had open heart surgery and one had a cath procedure to correct his heart problem. We have had 4 of the 7 patients return home already and are praying the other 3 will get to come home this week! Please continue for the ones who had surgery to heal and especially for those that did not. Please pray for them to make it until they are able to have their life altering surgery. Josh and I were able to meet each of the kids having surgery and they are all so sweet!
Myrlanda is so sweet. She just returned home yesterday with the biggest smile on her face!

Jonathan had surgery, but has not be released to come home yet. Please pray for continued healing for him.

George returned home yesterday and was full of energy. We played peek a boo and sharles loved trying to play with him!

Hopefully Wilgens will have a follow up appointment tomorrow and be released to come home. He had some trouble right after his surgery keeping his food down, so they will make sure he will be ready to come home. He is staying in our children's home for the time being, so he is especially close to my heart as I have gotten to know his sweet personality. Please pray for healing for him as well.
