Have I mentioned that she is beautiful? Well we think so, but I know we are biased! She continues to grab attention from Haitians wherever we go. Whether its driving the street and her talking to people out the window or walking in the grocery store, people stop to talk to her wherever we go. There are not many blue eyed blondes around here! My prayer is that we can use the opportunties where people stop us whenever we are out to glorify Jesus!
She is so loving! She is always giving hugs and kisses to us and to her stuffed animals. She loves to blow kisses too! She is also so full of personality and sometimes sass! She has learned to say "no" and "yes". She can tell you she is "done". She loves finding her "toes" and everyone else's. she likes to "tickle, tickle" other people's toes. She can say and wave "hi" and "bye". And driving down the road she loves to spot "cows", "goats", and "dogs". She loves to laugh and play, especially with other kids. She loves to share her toys so other people can play with her. She has learned to stick her tongue out, but only to play. Thankfully she hasn't learned yet that it can be used in a not so nice way! She is walking like crazy and loves the freedom it gives her. It is also so much easier on josh and I now that she can walk and doesn't have to be carried around everywhere. She also now has 8 teeth! Whoa! She feeds berself for the most part and loves to eat! she eats just about anything we put in front of her, and, thankfully, she loves beans! She is so much fun. She is learning so quickly and is so smart, but she is growing up way too quickly!
For her birthday, we went over to the Children's Home and took a cake. Everyone had fun. It was Barbie themed. She even got a Haitian Barbie for her birthday! Our friends from 2 houses up came over and brought her chocolate cupcakes, which she and her daddy both loved! And on Sunday we spent the day at the pool for her birthday with Michelle and Isaac! She has had a great birthday, but I still can't believe she is already 1.
Well thank you for listening to my rambling/bragging! We love her so much and, over the last year, she has helped me understand so much more God's love for us! She is truly a precious gift from God!
If you aren't already tired of hearing about her, here are a few pictures too!
